In Afghanistan’s capital Kabul, armed gunmen opened fire on a gurdwara, in which 25 people are feared casualties. At the same time, at least 25 people are trapped inside the gurdwara. According to the latest information, the Muslim guard of the Gurdwara has died while two are admitted in the hospital.
According to reports, two explosions took place inside the premises and some shops adjacent to the Gurudwara caught fire.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said in a tweet, ‘The cowardly attack on Gurdwara Karte Parwan must be condemned in the strongest terms. We are closely monitoring the developments ever since we got the news of the attack. Our first and foremost concern is for the welfare of the community.
