The murder of a 20-year-old Indian-origin student and the detention of a Korean student who lived with him in the hostel of a university campus in the US state of Indiana has come to light. Indianapolis resident Varun Manish Chheda was found dead in Macchion Hall, located on the west end of the Purdue University campus, police said on Wednesday.
According to Fox News, police chief Vete said he believed the attack was “unprovoked”. Varun’s childhood friend Arunabh Sinha told ‘NBC News’ that Varun was chatting online with his friends and playing games on Tuesday night when he heard a sudden scream on the call.
Arunabh told that he was not playing with friends that night, but the rest of the friends told him that they heard the sound of the attack but could not understand what happened there and when they woke up on Wednesday morning, they found Varun dead. Got the news.
