I am informed by our local karyakartas that Sri Ulen Roy, a senior BJP karyakarta, has succumbed to splinter injuries caused by the country bombs that Mamata’s police threw.

This is murder. Nothing less.

We are very angry. We will never forgive you Mamata Di.

WB police are a disgrace to India’s famed police force.

They have forgotten their constitutional duties.

They should remove their uniforms & join TMC goons.

The brutal suppression of democratic dissent must be condemned by every responsible Indian.

Shame on you Mamata Di. pic.twitter.com/yeI1zPQ3QC

West Bengal turned into a war zone when BJP employees were assaulted by the police in protest against the WB government in Tinbatti. BJP leader Tejasvi Surya, highlighting police violence against peaceful demonstrators, said “Many BJP employees were injured in their peaceful protests. #Democracy is assassinated in the WB.”

In another tweet, Surya called on the media to investigate the incident. He said If you don’t speak out about these crimes now you’re going to fail in your duties. It’s above party politics. This is the issue of democracy in India. Oh look at this. It seems like a field of conflict. Are you going to raise your voice against this? ”

My friends in the media,

If you will not speak up against these atrocities today, you will be failing in your duties.

This is beyond party politics. This is the question of India’s democracy.

Look at this. It looks like a war zone.

Will you raise your voice against this? pic.twitter.com/EkpnZUe6um

As per the reports, Police used tear gas and water cannon on the staff of BJP Yuva Morcha. Surya levelled strong charges against the West Bengal Police, alleging that they had targeted BJYM employees with crude explosives. Although others were injured, one worker was found dead. He said, “Sri Ulen Roy, senior BJP Karyakarta, succumbed to splinter injuries caused by the nation bombs that Mamata’s police fired..”

IT cell chief and BJP leader Akshay Singh posted a series of Tweets that shared details about the attack on BJP staff. In one of his tweets, he posted a video of the police torturing Karyakartas.

In another tweet, Singh posted a police video of employees using water cannons.

National Secretary General BJP Kailash Vijayvargiya posted a video in which it was apparent that the police were shooting tear gas shells. He said that when the police were tossing tear gas grenades, the TMC’s goons standing next to them were throwing country-made bombs.

Two rallies were scheduled for BJP Uttar Kanya Abhiyan. Uttar Kanya is the North Bengal state secretariat. Thousands of BJP staff, along with BJP West Bengal and national leaders, were expected to join the rallies. A strong West Bengal Police Force was mobilised to trouble the protest. As confirmed, tear gas bombs, water cannons, and other anti-riot devices were used to contain the crowd.

BJP leader Laxman Garui saying, “Trinamool Congress-backed goons opened fire at the rally. They are trying to intimidate the opposition before the upcoming Assembly elections in Bengal by unleashing political violence.”

“Protests were held against the Mamta government as it has failed its promise of the development of North Bengal. In 2014, she ensured that development work in North West Bengal would be on her priority list, but she failed to do so”, said Kalicharan Shaw, Member of Media Department BJP West Bengal,

Shaw further informed about the death of the senior leader of BJP, Sri Ulen Roy. “We are holding a protest against the police brutality at 5:30 PM at BJP state office,” he further added.
