Punjab Kings beat Mumbai Indians by 12 runs

Last night in Pune, in IPL cricket, Punjab Kings beat Mumbai Indians by 12 runs. This is Mumbai Indians’ fifth consecutive defeat in the tournament, while Punjab has won the third match. In reply to the target of 199 runs at the MCA Stadium in Pune, the entire team of Mumbai could only manage 186 runs for nine wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

For Mumbai, Brevis top scored with 49 runs, while Suryakumar scored 43 runs. Odion Smith took the maximum four wickets for Punjab.

Earlier, Punjab scored 198 for five in the allotted twenty overs. Opener Shikhar Dhawan scored 70 and Mayank Agarwal scored 52 runs. Jitesh Sharma scored 30 runs. Mayank Agarwal was declared the player of the match. For Mumbai, Basil Thampi took two wickets while Jasprit Bumrah, Jaydev Unadkat and M Ashwin took one wicket each.
