Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant was on Saturday fined 100 per cent of his match fee for breaching the IPL code of conduct during their 15-run loss to Rajasthan Royals, while assistant coach Amre was banned for one match.

Amre has also been fined his full match fee while Delhi pacer Shardul Thakur has been fined 50 per cent of his match fee.

All three were fined for their role in the controversial last over of the match played on Friday.

Delhi needed 36 runs to win in the last over. In such a situation, Rovman Powell hit sixes in the first three balls of Obed McCoy.

Kuldeep Yadav, standing at the non-striker’s end, pointed to the umpire and asked to see a replay of the last ball as it could have been a no-ball if it was above the waist. Powell also started talking to the umpires but the on-field umpires said the ball was valid.
