KL Rahul has been fined Rs 24 lakh for slow over rate in the match against Mumbai Indians. This is the second time that Rahul has been fined for slow over-rate. For the first time, a fine of Rs 12 lakh was imposed on him.
“KL Rahul has been fined Rs 24 lakh while other players in the playing XI have been fined Rs 6 lakh or 25 per cent of his match fee (whichever is less),” IPL said in a statement issued here. ‘
“This is the second time this season that a team has not completed overs within the stipulated time as per the IPL Code of Conduct,” it added.
