CBI. has arrested seven accused in a case related to alleged online child sexual abuse. These arrests have been made from different places including Delhi, Dhenkanal in Odisha, Noida and Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh and Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh. They were presented in various courts today.
During investigation, it was found that these accused were allegedly sharing child sexual abuse material on some websites through video links. Some of these people were also involved in the trade of this material.
The bureau had registered 23 separate cases on November 14 against 83 accused in this regard. Raids were conducted yesterday at 77 places in 14 states. The inspection of the matter is going on.
