On Sunday, Kuldeep Kumar took to Twitter to post several videos of him with the family of the woman who died after she was allegedly gangraped in Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras district.

Reacting to this, Delhi BJP president Adesh Gupta slammed AAP for playing “dirty politics”.

“Aam Aadmi Party can stoop down to any level for its political interest and corona-infected Delhi MLA Kuldeep Kumar’s political sojourn in Hathras is proof of their dirty politics,” Adesh Gupta was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.

Gupta also asked Delhi Chief Minister and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal to take action against party leader Kuldeep Kumar for “irresponsible behaviour” as he visited the victim’s family five days after he said he tested positive for coronavirus.

When asked about Kuldeep Kumar’s Hathras visit, AAP spokesperson Durgesh Pathak said he is “yet to get in touch with Kumar and he is not sure if he had tested negative and then gone to Hathras or not.”

“I don’t have much information on it yet,” Durgesh Pathak told PTI.
