The first case of Omicron has been reported in Kerala today. In Kochi, a person was found infected with this new variant of Corona. This person had reached Kerala from England via Abu Dhabi on December 6 on an Etihad Airways flight.
The wife and mother of this person have also been found infected with Omicron.
He said that the State Health Department is taking all necessary steps to deal with the situation as per the guidelines issued by the Central Government.
