NEW DELHI: Executing an absolute, zero-compromise institutional offensive against organized education mafias threatening competitive aspirants, the Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved a landmark anti-paper leak legislative framework. Following a direct video outreach by the Prime Minister assuring students of swift justice, the Cabinet formally passed the ‘Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill 2026’. The legislation introduces stringent punishments including up to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment, a ₹10 crore monetary penalty, and the mandatory establishment of specialized Fast-Track Courts.

According to strategic briefs unraveled from the Cabinet Secretariat, the administration is prepared to table and pass the binding bill in both Houses of Parliament during the upcoming legislative session. In his late-night address, PM Modi emphatically asserted that paper leaks are a deeply painful issue for students, reiterating—“Our paramount duty was to ensure that a whole academic year for 22 lakh students was not wasted, leading to rapid re-examinations and results. Now, with culprits already behind bars, this draft law will enforce fast-track courts to ensure no offender escapes absolute justice.”

This decisive Cabinet approval delivers a crushing, direct blow to hostile political cartels and anti-national toolkit syndicates seeking to exploit student anxieties. Operating under an unyielding mandate of ‘Nation First’ youth welfare and an absolute ‘Zero Tolerance’ framework against examination cartels, the Indian government has demonstrated its unassailable administrative bench strength. By establishing an ironclad legal barrier, New India has signaled that it is playing entirely on the front foot to permanently insulate competitive examinations from systemic corruption.
