Board of Control for Cricket in India- BCCI has told its stakeholders that IPL-2022 will start with Chennai’s MA. Chidambaram Stadium.
The competition is likely to start from April 2 and will last for more than two months. The opening match of IPL-2022 will be played by four-time winners Chennai Super Kings. The information about the opposition team will be given later.
Two new teams Ahmedabad and Lucknow will also participate in this season of IPL. Ten teams will play 74 matches during the competition. The final match is expected to be held in June.
