In a major reshuffle in the departments of the top officers of the Administrative Service, 16 officers of the Indian Administrative Service have been transferred in Uttar Pradesh late last night. It has been reported by the state government that Amit Mohan Prasad, Additional Chief Secretary in the Health Department, has been transferred to the Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.
PARTHA SARATHI SEN SHARMA HAS BEEN MADE THE NEW PRINCIPAL SECRETARY OF THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT. SENIOR IAS OFFICER AND ADDITIONAL CHIEF SECRETARY NAVNEET SEHGAL HAS BEEN TRANSFERRED TO THE SPORTS DEPARTMENT.
Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Sanjay Prasad will look after the Home Department as well as the Information and Broadcasting Department. Former Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Awasthi retired yesterday. Another senior IAS officer Arvind Kumar has been given additional charge of UP Expressway Industrial Development Authority-UPEDA.
