Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Friday that India’s history has been one of valour, but unfortunately, even after independence, the history which was conspired during the period of slavery continued to be taught. He said that after independence there was a need to change the agenda of the foreigners who enslaved India but it was not done.

He said, “The history of India is not just the history of slavery. The history of India is the history of warriors, the history of showing unprecedented bravery and bravery against the oppressors. The history of India has been of the tradition of bravery. He said, “But unfortunately, even after independence, we were taught the same history which was hatched during the period of slavery.

The sons of India fought terrorists in every corner of the country, but this history was deliberately suppressed. The Prime Minister said that after independence, there was a need to change the agenda of the foreigners who made slaves, but this was not done. He said that the mistake done earlier by not bringing such sacrifices into the mainstream is being rectified and this event organized in Delhi to celebrate the birth anniversary of Lachit Borphukan is a reflection of this.

Modi said that Bodafkoon was such a brave warrior who showed that every terrorist comes to an end but India’s immortal flame remains immortal.
