Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel’s new council of ministers took oath today. Governor Acharya Devvrat administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new ministers in Gandhinagar. Taking a big step, the Bharatiya Janata Party has not included any member of the old Council of Ministers in the new Council of Ministers.
Today 10 cabinet and 14 ministers of state took oath. These include 2 women.
The new cabinet ministers who took oath include former state assembly speaker Rajendra Trivedi, Jitendra Vaghani, Hrishikesh Patel, Purnesh Modi, Raghavji Patel, Kanubhai Desai, Kirit Singh Rana, Naresh Patel, Pradeep Singh Parmar and Arjun Singh Chouhan.
