DSP Noor Mustafa was removed from the case of burning Ankita, Hindu organizations had raised objection

A person named Shahrukh Hussain set fire to the body of a minor Hindu girl named Ankita Singh by sprinkling petrol on her, due to which she died during treatment. Shahrukh was seen laughing and twirling a moustache while in police custody, which shows that he has no fear of the police-administration.

The reason for this is the local DSP Noor Mustafa, who is accused of protecting the killer. The protesting Hindus said that they have complaints with the administration, as it always opposes Hindus.

Earlier, the Child Welfare Committee has asked Ankita to register a case under the POCSO Act, stating that she is a minor. The committee said the girl was around 16 years of age as per her 10th marksheet and she was not an adult as claimed by the police. It was alleged that SDPO Noor Mustafa had told Ankita to be an adult.
