In the Asia Cup between India and Pakistan on Sunday, Indian fast bowler Arshdeep Singh missed a catch during the fielding. India lost in this match, after which fake Pakistani social media handles started spewing venom against Arshdeep Singh. Now the Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has summoned Wikipedia on Monday in this matter.
In India, a Wikipedia executive has been summoned, asking how Arshdeep Singh’s profile on his site was linked to the Khalistani organization. The Indian government has asked the online encyclopedia platform how Arshdeep Singh’s page was tampered with and the entry of his page was edited in such a way that claims of his Khalistani connections were made.
In Punjab, BJP leader Manjinder Sirsa gave a befitting reply to Arshdeep speaking Khalistani, saying, “Arshdeep Singh is a promising player. He played brilliantly and the whole nation is with him. The country is before cricket and I am with Arshdeep Singh by rejecting this propaganda of Pakistan.
A high-level committee headed by the Secretary, Ministry of IT will inquire with Wikipedia executives in this regard. Along with this, a ‘show cause notice’ can also be issued to the company. It will be cautioned to take further measures to avoid such edits. Arshdeep Singh’s page was edited to show his residence as ‘Khalistan’ from a Pakistani IP address.

I don’t think the title of your article matches the content lol. Just kidding, mainly because I had some doubts after reading the article.
