Army Chief General M M Naravane on Saturday said the safety forces in Jammu and Kashmir have had tons of successes recently as people there are uninterested with militancy and need normalcy to return to the Union territory.

“As far as Jammu and Kashmir or our western neighbour cares, we’ve had tons of successes within the last one week or ten days. within the last 10-15 days alone quite 15 terrorists are killed there,”Naravane told reporters on the sidelines of the IMA’s passing out parade which he addressed because the reviewing officer.

“All this has been due to the close cooperation and coordination between all the safety forces operating within the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.

He said a majority of the recent anti-terrorist operations were supported information provided by locals which is a sign that they’re uninterested with militancy and need normalcy to return to the valley.

“Most operations are administered on the idea of data provided by locals which matches to point out they’re also absolutely uninterested with militancy and terrorism and need that things should return to normal,” Naravane said.
