One of the greatest women’s cricket player Mithali Raj on Wednesday announced her retirement from all forms of international cricket after a stellar two-decade-long career.
Mithali scored a record 7805 runs in 232 ODIs in her international career. He also represented India in 12 Tests and 89 T20 Internationals.
Announcing her retirement, Mithali wrote on social media, “I went on a journey to wear the blue jersey of India because it is the greatest honor to represent my country. I saw many top moments in my journey and also faced some tough times. This every moment taught me something new and the last 23 years have been the most satisfying, challenging and enjoyable years of my life. Today is the day when I retire from all forms of international cricket.
