NEW YORK/NEW DELHI: On the grand stage of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), India has taken its most uncompromising and decisive stance yet against cross-border terrorism and regional instability caused by Pakistan. India’s Permanent Mission to the UN has extended absolute support to the strict measures initiated by the United Nations (UN) and the Afghan administration against Pakistani terror networks that disrupt peace and stability in Afghanistan. India’s sharp diplomatic offensive serves as a direct blow to Islamabad’s nefarious terror factory, which continuously threatens the peace of entire South Asia.
During the high-level Security Council meeting, Indian representatives stated explicitly that until Pakistan completely demolishes the safe havens of dangerous terrorist outfits like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and the TTP operating from its soil, any talk of regional peace remains meaningless. Championing the UN-imposed sanctions on terrorists and defending Afghanistan’s sovereign position, India declared that terrorism cannot be justified under any pretext. Following this firm intervention, Pakistani diplomats present at the Security Council were forced completely onto the backfoot.
International affairs experts believe that the Modi government’s ‘Nation First’ and ‘Zero Tolerance’ policies against terrorism have successfully isolated Pakistan on global platforms. This action also delivers a blow to pseudo-human rights defenders who constantly attempt to shield Pakistan’s actions. India’s resounding diplomatic victory at the United Nations has once again proven that New India will never compromise on its national security or regional integrity, and it will continue to expose the state sponsors of terror in every corner of the world.
