Raju Srivastava passed away this morning at All India Institute of Medical Sciences-AIIMS, Delhi. He was 58 years old. He was admitted to AIIMS last month after suffering a heart attack. Expressing grief over the death of famous comedian Raju Srivastava, Amit Shah has described it as an irreparable loss to the art world. He said that Raju Srivastava impressed everyone with his amazing talent.
Expressing grief over the demise of Raju Srivastava, Anurag Singh Thakur said in a tweet that he was a great artist and a vibrant person. He said that the era of a genre of comedy has come to an end with the demise of Raju Srivastava and it is not possible to fill this void. Thakur expressed condolences to the bereaved family and fans of Raju Srivastava.
When Raju Srivastava was brought to AIIMS on August 10 after suffering a heart attack, his condition was critical and he was not conscious. It is said that with the help of CPR, he was somehow brought to his senses. After this Raju Srivastava’s angioplasty was done and 2 stents were also inserted in his arteries. However, even after that, Raju’s health did not improve and he remained unconscious. After this he was taken on ventilator.
