The court said that the sentiments of people across the country have been aroused by his inappropriate statement and he is solely responsible for what is happening in the country. The court reprimanded Nupur Sharma and said, “You apologized late, that too with the condition that if someone’s sentiment is hurt, then I withdraw the statement.
You call yourself a lawyer and make such irresponsible statement. Being a member of the party in power should not overwhelm his mind.
Along with this, the court also directed the news channel and Nupur Sharma not to promote any agenda related to the matter which is pending in the court. Nupur Sharma’s lawyer said that she has apologized for her controversial statement. On which the court said that he should come on TV and apologize to the whole country.
