At least 44 people were killed when a bus fell into a gorge in Lasbela district of Pakistan’s Balochistan province this morning. According to media reports, the bus was going from Quetta to Karachi and was carrying 48 passengers. Local police said that 41 bodies have been pulled out from the debris so far. More than 700 CCTV cameras will be installed around the Vaishno Devi temple complex in Jammu and Kashmir. The Temple Management Board has started issuing RFID cards to each pilgrim with the objective of tracking all pilgrims, proper crowd management and ease of registration of pilgrimage. In the year 2022, more than 91 lakh devotees visited the temple, which was the highest in the last nine years.
