Jharkhand High Court’s recent directive to a Hindu girl Richa Bharti to distribute copies of holy book of Quran as a condition to get bail for posting some comment construed as objectionable and having potential to affect communal harmony, has stoked a big controversy.
Richa Bharti, a student was directed by a Ranchi court to distribute 5 copies of Quran as condition for bail for posting an allegedly communal post on social media. She says,"Other communities also make such posts, have they ever been asked to recite Hanuman Chalisa&visit temples?" pic.twitter.com/GQCml3Qtfj

While people in different parts of the country have reacted with bewilderment and shock
over a strange court directive, many on the social media have reacted quite strongly to
condemn the incident.
Some people have likened this Jharkhand girl, who refused to distribute the Quran for a court bail, with Civil Rights Icon Rosa Parks, the woman known as the “mother of the civil rights movement who turned the course of American history by refusing in 1955 to give up her seat on a bus for a white man.
Many people, representing different walks of life including top politicians like Subramanyam
Swamy and top BJP influencers on television and social media like Vikas Pandey have come forward to help the young Hindu girl.
I hope Richa Bharti contacts @Ish_Bhandari . He is the best for this issue and I will help him in court. Distribution of Koran means approval of sections which talk of Kafirs and consequences. Richa is fighting for all genuine Hindus. We cannot circulate theology of others

Friends
Please help our brave girl #RichaBharti in her legal fees. We have got in touch with her father and created this campaign to help her meet her legal needs. https://t.co/Zcr8EPUvUt— विकास पांडेय (@MODIfiedVikas) July 16, 2019
Others on the twitter looked aghast and reacted quite strongly while raising a host of concerns questioning the awkward directive of the court.
Why was #RichaBharti arrested within 3 hours of a complaint made? Why was a woman arrested by @JharkhandPolice on a Friday evening so she would have to spend the weekend in jail? Why is the advocate general of Jharkhand supporting this idiotic #Fatwa? Why is @dasraghubar quiet?

A higher court should overturn the absurd order of the Ranchi judge in Richa Bharti case, suspend judicial work allocated to him and order him to distribute 5 copies of the book "I am a Troll" before he is allowed to resume judicial work.
